Plans, directs and controls the real time allocation of resources (Staff & Equipment) to achieve an optimum utilisation, ensuring fairness, equity and on time allocation of resources.
Accountable for effective control of RTC system on a shift, with an aim to achieve optimum resource allocation and business efficiency.
Providing regular updates on the overall status of dnata resources to the dOCC Airport Duty Manager, highlighting potential issues & presenting recovery plans.
Performance manage the centralised resource allocation team on a shift basis which includes on the job coaching and ensuring training and staff development .
Support to ensure an equitable, cost efficient deployment of resources in line with agreed SLA's.
Responsible to achieve established departmental KPI's for resource utilisation, ensuring staff welfare, safety compliance and agreed service levels with the customer are achieved.
Accountable for the pre-planning of resources within 7 days of operation, reviewing rostered against available resources & flight schedules.
Responsible for assessing proposed deployment of over time by resource allocation team prior to seeking DOCC Airport Duty Manager approval, exercising effective control to maintain a cost effective utilisation of resources.
Plan and execute a resource plan for the next 12 hours by anticipating operational trends through the monitoring of RTC / AACS and through continuous dialogues with the various control centres and operational heads (ADM / MAO) and adjust the plan to meet the operational dynamics.
Recommend performance improvement measures through a continuous review of the allocation process and provide in depth analysis / feedback on shift operations to RTC Manager in order to achieve continuous improvement.
Drive investigations following operational irregularities and provide a detailed analysis for development of preventative measures, for resources deployed from within dOCC.
Responsible for gaining support & maintaining positive relationships with internal & external customers.
